LOVE\LIGHT
LOVE\LIGHT is an edition created for the Queer Art Spaces Vienna association – a light installation that explores perspective, diversity and the essential connection between light and love.
At its heart lies the essence: light and love. Two forces that shape and connect our lives. A dichroic film, embedded in acrylic, reflects and refracts the light into iridescent colour spectra that shift depending on the viewing angle. The sculpture does not exist in a fixed form, but unfolds as perspectives change – it constantly reveals new facets, nuances and moods.
A play of light and colour
This is the concept behind the work: diversity arises from different perspectives. Nothing is static, nothing is unambiguous; every perception reveals its own reality. As you move, the object changes – colours overlap, appear and disappear. A play of transparency and presence emerges, of movement and stillness, light, airy and almost floating.
The material itself becomes a metaphor: light penetrates the surface, splits into nuances and reunites into a living, flowing whole. Diversity is not smoothed over, but made visible. Light becomes the unifying element – it makes the colours glow and weaves them together into a poetic complexity.
LOVE\LIGHT is both an invitation and an artistic statement: to view the world through light, to see love as a unifying force, and to celebrate diversity as something natural and beautiful.
As a fundraising edition, the work simultaneously supports Queer Art Space Vienna and helps to strengthen spaces for diversity, visibility and artistic exchange.
This unique edition has a limited run of 10 pieces.
